Why Tear-Off Is Worth It
California's Title 24 energy code requires roof assemblies to meet current minimum R-value requirements when a roof is replaced. A full tear-off allows us to meet that requirement with new insulation. More importantly, it allows our crew to visually inspect every square foot of your roof deck for rot, delamination, or structural damage — and repair it before it's hidden under new materials.

Inspection & Proposal
Core samples, deck assessment, and drain survey. Written proposal with full scope, schedule, and warranty terms.
No commitment required at inspection stage.
Tear-Off & Deck Repair
Complete removal of existing system, disposal, and full deck inspection. All damaged decking repaired before proceeding.
Progress photos of deck condition provided to owner.
Insulation & Membrane
New insulation to code R-value, tapered where required for drainage, followed by new membrane installation per manufacturer specifications.
Seams probe-tested throughout installation.
Details, Warranty & Inspection
All flashings, edge metal, and penetrations completed. Final flood test, city inspection if required, and manufacturer warranty registration.
